Work is continuing smoothly for Artifact, in spite of Michelle’s hip surgery. The Zoo has given her a steady stream of projects which involve refurbishing signs she illustrated over a decade ago. Sometimes the information about the animals changes, but more often the signs simply deteriorate and must be replaced. Michelle welcomes the opportunity to improve upon her previous work. Here is a crowned crane which she previously drew in pen-and-ink, now painted more realistically with acrylics.
